Kelvin Grout
English pianist Kelvin Grout began playing the piano at age four and won his first competition when he was just nine years old.
He studied as an accompanist at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, where his teachers included David Wilde, Robin Bowman, Paul Hamburger and Graham Johnson. He participated in masterclasses with Gerard Souzay, Gerald Moore, Geoffrey Parsons, Elly Ameling and Elisabeth Schwarzkopf.
