Mayke Rademakers
Mayke Rademakers received her first cello lessons from the Hungarian cellist György Schiffer. He actually discovered her talent. She graduated Cum Laude at age 21.
Meanwhile, at age 16, she attended the famous Masterclass with André Navarra, at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena (Italy). At the final concert she won the prize for promising players. Navarra was impressed by her talent, and invited her to study with him in Detmold (Germany) and subsequently also two years in Vienna (Austria).
