Dana Ilia
Dana Ilia belongs to the new generation of singers, who grew up on the “breeding ground” of “De Nederlandse Opera” (Netherlands). Her vocal education starts in Belgrado at the Mokranjac Musicgymnasium, and was continued via Austria (Salzburg and Vienna) at the Amsterdam Sweelinck Conservatory of Music. She followed masterclasses in the Netherlands with Cristina Deutekom, Opera Studio Nederland, Jekatarina Joffel and the Jekerstudio Maastricht, where she is still coached by Gemma Visser.
Productions of “De Nederlandse Opera” in which she performed so far were: Die Fledermaus, Die Frau ohne Schatten, De Neus, Madame Butterfly, Tannhäuser and Der kleine Ring des Nibelungen.
