Mijke Sekhuis
At the Royal Conservatory of Music Den Haag (Netherlands) Dutch soprano Mijke Sekhuis completed in 2004 her vocal studies in Classic Solo Singing, specialising in “Art Songs”.
In addition to this she completed her studies in Opera at the “Dutch National Opera Academy” in Amsterdam. Subsequently she was engaged at the “Centre National d’Insertion Professionelle d’Artistes Lyriques”, in Marseille (France). She took masterclasses with – among others – Tom Krause, Mady Mesplé, Nathalie Stutzmann, Elly Ameling, Michael Chance and Graham Johnson. At the moment Henny Yana Diemer is her vocal coach.
