Emilio Pons

Beginning with the 2010-2011 season, and through the 2011-2012 season, Dutch tenor Emilio Pons joined the ranks of the prestigious “Grand Théâtre de Genève”, (Switzerland).

During his first season there, he was singing the role of “Trufaldino” in Prokofiev’s “Love for Three Oranges”; he also covered the role of “Il Conte di Almaviva” in a new production of Rossini’s “Il Barbiere di Siviglia”, a role which he first sang in 2008 at Theater Freiburg, (Germany) under the baton of Alberto Zedda.
